Which bus services are operating around europe in january, february?

salzburg flights
Aleckii asked:

I’m planning a backpacking trip to europe, stopping by a few countries like Germany (Berlin), Switzerland (Luzerne, Geneva), Italy (Florence, Pisa, Rome, Venice), Austria (Salzburg, Vienna) and Czech (Prague), then back to Germany to catch my flight. I know about Busabout, but apparently they’re not operating during that period of time. Any other bus services which are as flexible as Busabout?

Eurolines. Make sure to book your trip in advance. Or go by train.

skip the busses and go either by train or (believe it or not) plane. it is often cheaper to fly. Check out
I lived in Berlin for a few years. I would say, get a flight through Frankfurt and onto Berlin. After you explore Berlin and Potsdam for a few days, take a flight to Basel Switzerland on Easy Jet. Then take trains through gorgeous Switzerland (skip Luzerne and Geneva–go to Basel and Gimmelwald instead) and Austria (definitely Salzburg and Hallstat, but skip Vienna–nothing special). When you get to Italy make sure to have reservations on their crowded trains and demand your seat (you paid extra for it, even though passengers will tell you it’s theirs) In Italy, go to Cinque Terra (Pisa is nothing but the tower and you can see it from the train, Venice, Rome–Florence view above the river is okay but Cinque Terra is so much better). I would then fly from Venice or Rome back to Berlin…there is a cheap airline-can’t remember the name. then a beautiful train ride to Prague and back and you have seen a big chunk of europe. just curious why you left out spain and france??? best places in europe, if you ask me. By the way, Italy and Switzerland are sooo expensive. You need at least 6 weeks or two months for all this if possible. Enjoy. Email for more info.
