Option 1 is at a Chalet Hotel in Hinterthal, near Salzburg, Austria. It’ll be snowy and beautiful. We can fly from Londonto Salzburg and trainto Hinterthal. The VERY friendly owners of the hotel have offered to be our witnesses. Plus i’d get to be a winter bride and wear a silver and white glitter dress! My only concern is it seems VERY formal. They provide 5 course meals every night and many people go there to ski (which I don’t). It seems out of my league. I can afford it but i’m worried there’ll be loads of cutlery and won’t know what to use! I’m worried i’ll look like I shouldn’t be there.

Option 2 is Negril, Jamaica. It’ll be sunny and lovely. I’d get to wear a summer dress and have a barefoot wedding on the beach. They can also provide witnesses and every speaks english. The resturants are amazing. I’d feel a littlle more like I belonged there as it’s a package hol

but if you are more comfortable with the second go with that.. dont do anything you are not comfortable with
Even though option 1 sounds lovely i would go with option 2.

Option 2…
You should never feel like you don’t belong somewhere, but since you do, I wouldn’t go with option 1. You should feel comfortable with yourself, esp at your own wedding. Therefore, I’d choose option 2…I was really leaning toward option 1, as it seems sooooo unusual and wonderful, and just the kind of thing that would be so uniquely yours, but if you feel somehow inferior to these people, I wouldn’t recommend that.

Who would ever want to get married and have a honeymoon in a cold place, anyway? Besides, if you don’t ski and you’re at a fancy-schmancy ski resort, you’re going to be bored out of your mind!!!
When in doubt-Always choose the beach!!
