I am flying out of Salzburg, Austria in July and I am going to Rome. I stay in Berchtesgaden, Germany. What would be the best way to get to Salzburg airport from Berchtesgaden? I dont want to drive there.
Then when we are in Rome, would it be wise just to take a taxi to the Termini station from the airport because my hotel is right near Termini.

I don’t know about these specific places, but public transport is good organised in Europe, like bus, train, tram, metro.
Taxis are also no problem but can be a bit expensive.
You can also inform at the hotel about shuttle-service to / from the airport.
Taxis are really expensive in Italy, and if the driver can sense you don’t know your way around, he will take advantage of you!
If you can afford to take a taxi then do it, its easiest… Otherwise, I found when I was living in Italy, the buses are amazing! Really frequent and sufficient!
long distances trains. short distances walk or bike. accompanied with luggage use the taxi. tmm
