I know there is no set drinking age in most European countries, but I would love to know a little more.
I don’t know if the town/area of the country matters but here is where I am traveling to:
-Munich
-Salzburg
-Sopron
-Budapest
-Zakopane
-Krakow
-Auschwitz
-Prague
-and maybe Paris, France

alcoholism is bad
in munich its 18
Germany 16, 18 for distilled beverages
Munich
Austria 16, 18 for distilled beverages
Salzburg
Hungary 18
Sopron
Budapest
Poland 18
Zakopane
Krakow
Czech Republic 18
Prague
France 18
Paris
Note, I put in the purchasing age as in some countries such as France it’s not illegal to drink alcohol, but you must be over 18 to purchase it. As a rule of thumb once your over 18 your grand, your unlikely to get served in a bar at 16 in Austria or Germany, even though it is legal to serve you beer.
