		<description>It might be pretty tight! Vienna&#039;s city centre is about 19 km (12 miles) from the airport. You will need to catch either a shuttle bus (25 min bus ride) from the Schwechat International Airport or take a train to Wien Mitte (downtown Vienna). Look for the Schnellbahn sign (the station is on the lowest level). Your end destination will be Stephansplatz station which is right by the Stephansdom cathedral.

I&#039;m curious - why did you choose to fly from Salzburg to Vienna, when you could have taken the train and enjoyed viewing the Austrian countryside? Then you wouldn&#039;t have to deal with customs and long airport line ups.
