Hello, I was wondering if anyone can tell me please if it is possible to take a day trip from Vienna International Airport to the city? I am travelling from Salzburg to Rome via Vienna and as I have a 5 hour stopover (yahoo!) I thought it maybe possible to visit to St Stephens cathederal. Thanks for the info Petra…in answer to your query about why I am flying to Vienna from Salzburg, it is because I am flying from Salzburg to ROME, it is just that I was unable to get a direct flight that didn’t go via Vienna.
