I am planning to travel to vienna in June….planning to stay for 2 days…then move over to Salzburg…..then to Innsbruck…..then go to Italy…Bolzano, Meran…..then to venice……then driving back to Vienna……what do u u think of this itinerary ? But my major problem is travelling from Amsterdam to Vienna…any suggestions ?

On Saturdays and Sundays you can fly from Amsterdam to Innsbruck for about 20 or 30 euros on
-if you could rerrange your stops in Austria. I checked some random dates in March not knowing when you’re traveling.
You can check flights on
from Eindhoven, Netherlands to cities in Austria.
Eindhoven airport can be reached by direct buses from Amsterdam Central Station and ryanair has super cheap flights. Maybe not directly to Vienna, but check nearby cities.
As for the train, there’s a nonstop connection on the City Night Line, dep. Ams. at 17.03, arr. Vienna next am at 8.35. This costs as low as $77 one way, including a couchette in a 6-person compartment .
P.S. I just found
They fly from Ams to Vienna.
Also try:
Sky Europe is a low budget airline operating between Amsterdam and Vienna. There are flights in June as low as 90 euro round trip (45 euro one way) available right now on some days.
The rest of your itinerary is pretty easy to do by train. I live in northern Italy and have visited all of the places you’re proposing to go on the trains. You can plan and price the train trips on: (austria) and (Italy).
If you choose to drive, you can use to plan routes. It will also give you an estimate of the tolls on the route.
