hey, I just booked a flight to Hamburg, Austria. can anyone recommend what is the best way to travel and how

I intend on going to (hamburg -> vienna -> munich -> salzburg -> hamburg for depart)
Flights are cheap but then as you proceed to pyament they get more expensive with fine print details.
Trains.. how does that work and how do you book?
